This page details some examples of real sessions, to give a deeper understanding of what happens during a session, particulary for those who are new to Energetic Healing.CASE STUDY 1 - May 2009 (*names have been changed to protect privacy)
Penny* came into see me wanting some clarity and focus on her career. After having children she was unsure which direction she should take as she didn't want to return to her old career, pre-children. However she was experiencing so many negative thoughts, it was stopping her from taking any action at all. She just wasn't sure what to do.
Penny got up on the table and I tuned into her energy and brought in her angels and guides, as well as my angels and guides to support and guide us during the session.
Firstly there was an imbalance in her Solar Plexus chakra. I explained that this was the chakra related to her self belief, self worth and self confidence. It also controlled her personal power. Penny was holding onto a ball of emotion in this chakra which I identified as FEAR. It presented itself as a big ball of twine that needed to be unraveled and cleared. There were many different aspects to this fear - fear of letting others down, fear of changing routine etc. We dissolved and released this emotion. Her angels and guides also urged her to keep her mind open to different opportunities, be positive and visualize her ideal future so that she can transform her thoughts and emotions to create what she really wants. Clearing this negative energy means that her Solar Plexus chakra is healthy and strong enabling her to draw on these positive qualities.
Next, I was directed to Penny's Crown chakra. This is the chakra related to your connection with your higher self and higher energies such as God/Universal/Source energy. There was a blockage in this chakra as a past life needed to be released.
This was a past life from 1000 years ago based in what is now Iran. Penny in this lifetime was a female born into a family where her father was a sheik and her mother (and all the women) were extremely subservient. In fact, she was conceived by the rape of her fathers friend which was a tolerated practice in those circles. They were Muslims and the women were covered from head to toe and I could see all of their timid and frightened eyes. As a child, she was extremely bright and felt equal to the boys her age. Her mother was worried she would get herself into trouble as she wasn't quiet. At age 10, she received a very serious beating from her father which changed her life. It caused bleeding and severe pain. The girl disconnected from herself and lost all faith. She became like the other women, almost robotic like and fulfilled all of the wishes of the men in her life, including an arranged marriage. She went through the motions of life and eventually died of a brain illness like Alzheimer's/Dementia.
She would not go to the light as she had no connection with God and didn't even see a light. With the help of Penny's angels and guides, we guided this aspect of her soul/spirit to the light and released all of the negative emotions, primarily a loss of faith and connection to her higher self. Restoring these energies and a healthy crown chakra will help Penny in connecting what she really wants and what will make her happy.
Next, one of Penny's angels called Angela came in with a message for Penny. She was wearing beautiful tie dyed turquoise robes and had long blond hair. She was her angel to help and support her with connecting to her higher self. She urged Penny to look for signs to guide her such as seeing or hearing about courses or ideas 2 or 3 times, synchronicity etc. She said it is time for Penny to reconnect with all that she is and all that she has been. She also said that Penny is on the right path and all is as it should be. Release all her fears to her angels and guides.
Finally, we cleansed, balanced and strengthened Penny's channel with pink and white light. Her channel will help her to stay in tune with her intuition and feel focused.
To sum up, it seemed that Penny was having issues deciding what she really wanted to do as she had lost the connection with her higher wisdom, thus the confusion, negative thoughts and self doubt. She was also holding onto fear about setting off in a new direction. By working with her energetic system, we were able to clear these blocks. The good news is that Penny* came in next session and had enrolled in a course to qualify her in something she had always wanted to do. She saw lots of options of how this would fit in with her life and she was very excited and optimistic about her future.
CASE STUDY 2 - September 2009 (*names have been changed to protect privacy)
Sally* came in for a general balance. She didn't want to work on any particular issue but preferred to see what came up.
Initially I could see lots of straws coming from her aura. I could not explain these at this stage but they seemed to be having a negative impact. I was guided to the heart chakra where a past life was coming up from the late 1700's in Guatemala in a small tribe. Sally revealed to me that she had been to Guatemala is this life and that she felt very strange there. She had also fallen ill with hepatitis.
The past life showed Sally's parents very happy, young and in love however there is an older lady in the background, her fathers mother who is very angry as she had a marriage arranged and felt that Sally's mother stole her son away. She put a curse on Sally's mother which also transfers to the child as she is pregnant with Sally at the time. This curse is that Sally and her mother be unhappy and never find love. This does not seem to affect Sally in her early years. They avoid the grandmother as much as possible.
However at the age of 10, the grandmother confronts Sally and says "You should never have been born. I have cursed you so you never find happiness or true love. I curse you, child". This is when Sally loses her childhood innocence and takes on board the full meaning of the curse. She starts to envision noone liking her and thinking nasty thoughts, especially the boys her own age. The straws I saw earlier in her aura are like poison darts filled with negativity, Sally's perceptions of what everyone else is thinking. She keeps people at a distance even though she is beautiful & competent.
She starts to train herself in herbs etc, trying to find a cure for the curse, becoming a healer and replacing the old healer in the tribe. She gets lots of joy teaching the younger generations about these things. She never marries or finds true love. She eventually accepts that the curse is part of her life. Sally, in that life, dies at an old age by intentionally taking poisonous berries when she feels it is time. However she won't go to the light because of this curse on her. Her angels and guides reassure her that all is welcome in the light. Still reluctant, the angels transform the curse into golden light and that aspect of Sally's soul/spirit goes to the light. Her angels say it is time of her to welcome love into her life and not to be afraid anymore.
Next I am directed to the navel chakra where the energy is spinning backwards and I can see a 'puppet master' sitting in her chakra controlling her. They wanted to give a brief overview of this past life. This life is in the east coast of North America in the 1800's. She had a very controlling father then husband who were mentally abusive. She made no decisions or choices of her own and had no chance to express herself. She experienced a lack of joy and fulfillment.
She didn't go to the light as she was too afraid and timid and was not 'told to go'. This past life clearing was about creativity and fulfillment. There was a lot of fear about making the wrong choices or getting into trouble. All of this negative energy was cleared and the navel chakra filled with beautiful strong orange light and orange frangipanis.
Archangel Haniel came in with a message. He represents beauty, love and friendships. He asked Sally to find a special rock/stone, put it in a box and then in a special place where she can see it often. This shows that she is ready to open her heart and bring true love into her life. Haniel placed a heart shaped aventurine crystal as a gift into Sally's heart chakra to maintain a high level of energy and openness.
Finally, the angels and guides filled Sally's aura with a nurturing and supportive mist and also surrounded her whole aura with rainbow light.
Afterwards, Sally revealed that she had been actively working on her love life so found it fascinating that the curse came up. She also always worried about making the wrong decisions so she is glad that that was cleared. She said that this session was very meaningful to her. A few days later, she contacted me to say that she had felt huge shifts of energy and it was one of the most powerful sessions she had experienced with a healer.
Grace came in wanting to lose several kilos. After some initial discussion, delving into the deeper reasons behind wanting to lose weight, we worked with the goal:
"I joyfully follow a program that allows me to achieve my perfect weight of XXkgs over the next X months."
We assessed Grace's meridian system. (the meridians are the channels through which chi or vital energy flows, to nourish and energize the human body. ) The priority meridian to balance was the spleen meridian. We talked about this governing the pancreas. Grace has been diagnosed by her doctor with a fatty pancreas so we talked about the connection with this and also about how this meridian means she is lacking sweetness in her life.
Next we assessed the underlying emotion.The emotion surrounding the whole goal was Judgement and by muscle testing, age 29 was revealed. Grace told me she was divorced at this age and her ex-husband was a horrible man who was always judging her. We discussed how this linked in with her current situation of subconsciously putting herself in a position where she felt judged by her current husband (for being overweight.) This was one of the concerns she mentioned in our initial discussions.
Another factor causing stress revealed by muscle testing, was Boundary Issues - this is about creating and maintaining healthy boundaries for yourself and others. After testing several statements, Grace had stress in most areas relating to boundaries.
The next thing that came up was Sabotage programs. From a large database of sabotages, we were able to narrow it down. The first one was:
It is hard to lose weight – The underlying emotion was burdened. Grace had already mentioned that when she diets she finds it so hard and that is all she can think about. We talked about the connection here. We then complete a process of tapping, clearing statements and eye positioning to clear this sabotage program.
I have to eat everything on my plate to be a good girl. Again the emotion was burdened. We talked about the pressure she felt from her mum in particular to eat everything on her plate. She would get in trouble if she didn’t. We completed the process to clear the sabotage.
After rechecking the stresses from the beginning of the session, we then checked what Grace needed for Home Reinforcement. Her program was as follows:

- Exercise – join the gym (she had been talking about joining a local gym)
